A copy of The Daily Sentinel newspaper from the Dick Tracy comic strip's Green Hornet crossover
The Daily Sentinel is a fictional newspaper that appears throughout the Green Hornet franchise. It is typically portrayed as having been founded by Britt Reid's father, who installs his son as it's publisher in an effort to teach him maturity and responsibility. Unbeknownst to Dan, Britt uses his position at the paper to moonlight as the masked vigilante, "The Green Hornet."
The Daily Sentinel also appeared in the the Dick Tracy comic strip during its Green Hornet crossover arc. It made an additional appearance, a few days after the conclusion of the copy of the arc, when the Dick Tracy villain Sawtooth was depicted reading a copy of the The Daily Sentinel on a train.
