Robert Hall (October 16, 1924 - September 25, 1967), often credited as Bob Hall, was an American actor who portrayed Britt Reid, the Green Hornet on the Green Hornet radio series from 1944-1945 and again from 1945-1947.

Career[]

Hall was the third of four actors to portray the title character in the . was only nineteen years old when he began his tenure, making him the youngest actor to officially play the character on radio or screen. He portrayed the character from August 1944 until April 1945, at which point Al Hodge, who had originated the role briefly resumed playing the character. Hall pertinently replaced Hodge in July or August of 1945 and continued in the role until 1946, when Jack McCarthy took over the title role for the remainder of the series' run.

Following his tenure as the Green Hornet, Hall also become well-known as host of the popular CBS radio program Music 'Til Dawn.

Death[]

Hall died of cancer-related causes on September 25 1967 at New Rochelle, New York's New Rochelle Hospital. He was 42 years old.
