Kato is a valet and chauffeur. Kato is an employee of Britt Reid, owner/publisher of the Daiyl Sentinel newspaper. He secretly acts as a crimefighting partner of the Green Hornet, who is actually Britt Reid himself. Kato is an expert of fu, more commonly referred to today as kung fu.
This version of Kato appeared in the 1966-1967 television series, where he was portrayed by Kato was played by Bruce Lee.
