The debut issue of Green Hornet volume 3 was a comic book published by Dynamite Entertainment. It was released on July 22, 2020 as the first part of a five issue miniseries. The issue contained a single untitled story which ran 32 pages.

Synopsis[]
In a flash forward, Newspaper Britt Reid aka the Green Hornet, and his crimefighting partner Kato, square off against the U.S. Army at a Kansas farmstead. The military wants an infant who is under the vigilantes' protection, but they refuse to hand the child over. With five minutes until the army's air support arrives, the duo decide to try to fight their way out.
Twenty four hours earlier, Britt hosts a party at his home celebrating the publication of a recent activism centered Daily Sentinel story. After his guests depart, Britt is accosted by agents from a drug cartel who had attempted to warn him off the story. However, Britt and Kato easily defeat their opponents.
The following morning Britt meets with the staff of the Daily Sentinel where he expounds upon the power of the press. After concluding his speech, he's taken aside by his secretary, Lenore Case, who briefs him on Candice Carbajal, the Sentinel's science reporter, Candice Carbajal, who disappeared while on assignment in Kansas. Britt takes the Stinger out of storage, and he and Kato fly to Kansas to investigate. On the way, Britt laments that Carbajal not only vanished, but went missing while reporting on a story that was beneath her -- a routine meteor landing.
After landing, Britt and Kato visit the Dew Drop Inn, where they bribe the receptionist so that they can investigate Carbajal's room. They discover the place ransacked and are surprised to find baby supplies in her room. Soon after this discovery, the duo are attacked by a super-powered individual.
