The 12th issue of Green Hornet Comics was a comic book published by Harvey Comics. It was released on February 2, 1943 with an April 1943 cover date. It was the sixth Green Hornet comic book published by Harvey Comics, who had succeeded Helnit Publishing in publishing the series, and kept the numbering from the previous publisher.
The issue contained three Green Hornet stories: the ten page "The Killer in Black", the two page text story "The Story behind the Cover", and the ten page "The Green Hornet Tracks Down the Clue That Went Up in Smoke". It also included a single page "Green Hornet Buzzers" section. It omits "Meet Our Heroes Feature", frequently included in the inside of the front cover, in lieu of "A Salute and a Pledge." This was a single page tribute to Harvey Comics' founder, Alfred Harvey, who had been summoned to active duty in World War II.
