Green hornet is similar to darkwing duck

Yeah, in a Reddit Ask Me Anything session earlier this year, Tad Stones (the creator of Darkwing Duck) mentioned that the Shadow and the Green Hornet were two of the primary inspirations for Darkwing Duck.

I think the green hornet 1966 tv series was a bit bizzare because the blackbeauty was an evil looking car with the front and rear rocket missles like van williams britt reed says the car is in the form of a tank.

Technically, I was actually introduced to the Green Hornet while listening to Al Hirt's Dixieland-style jazz and swing records and abruptly hearing the switch from "Honey in the Horn" to the '66 Green Hornet show theme. Been a hardcore fan ever since then.
