This was reported way back in July, but just to make sure we have the news here: a new, animated The Green Hornet adaptation was announced, and is currently being developed!

These are some of the details:

• The animated series is being developed by Kevin Smith, a long-time fan who previously worked on Green Hornet comics

• He is working on it with Peanuts owner WildBrain

• The series is set in contemporary times, with a re-imagined Green Hornet and Kato (the grown son of the original Green Hornet, and the daughter of the original Kato).

• It will be target to a family audience
